Just when we thought baseball was over for the year, we found out it wasn't. Braken made the 8 year old Herriman All-Star team (A), along with 12 other kids his age in the league. It's been quit the experience, and he's enjoyed it so much and have made new friends he likes and some great little ball players. Our team struggled terribly in the pre-tournament but on Saturday june 27th at the state qualifying games we won our first game. It was great, you gotta love a sunny saturday at the ball park, cause I know we do. Also our All-Star team was asked to be in the Herriman Parade on saturday (june 27 2009) and the boys got to throw candy to the crowd. They thought they were pretty cool. What a great opportunity for these young ones, I can speak for Braken, he loved every minute of it. We were going to go watch the parade anyway but what a better way to watch it by seeing your own child in it. Way To Go Herriman!!!!
