Happy Halloween

Our family tradition every year is Me & Scott host our annual pumpkin carving party, and both sides of the family come and bring their pumpkins ready to carve away with many ideas (new and old) Lindsay(scott's sister) is the best at the carving. She has all the ideas, all the tools, without her we wouldn't have anything to carve with. Some years we do dinner others we just do finger foods, and we love each others company and everyone looks forward to it so it's fun for all of us to get together and begin the holiday season with family. It's MESSY but worth the clean up, and it's also fun to watch little cole & ashlynn (lyndi, brooke's sisters kids) gross out at the stuff inside the pumpkin, as you can see in one of the pictures ashlynn's making grandpa clean her pumpkin out cause she didn't want to touch the gooey stuff inside, it was hilarious. And this year for Halloween Braken was a black ninja and Payton was Venom off of spiderman, they got so much candy it took about a month to go through which is pretty quick still considering my kids are candy kids, it's all good though, and scott was even able to join us this year for trick or treating and my mom and dad and my sister and her family came up to trick or treat also, so it was very fun and COLD, we came back to our house after and had chile verde YUM! My brother Dick will have been gone for 12 years this Halloween so we keep him in our thoughts and hearts as we remember the life he lived. We love you Dickie Lee.
