Happy Birthday to YOU, Happy Birthday to YOU, Happy Birthday dear BRAKEN, Happy Birthday to You!! 10 years old, wow I feel old, and he's loving having an age with 2 digits, don't know why, I keep telling him wait 20 years and he'll hate it, but were all enjoying the moments. You know your kids are getting old when all they want is clothes, money and a cell phone for every holiday and birthday each year. What happened to playing with the cheap toys? I guess that's just not in their generation anymore. Oh how we love this boy so much, and it's such a blessing to have Braken in our lives, he keeps us laughing and makes family time so much fun, and he's always teaching us lessons along the way. Son we hope you have a great Birthday. We Love You Very Much!

and more clothes.

and a cell phone. He even got a red phone cover because he likes Utah. Now that means RESPONSIBILITY! His face was priceless when he opened it, it was hilarious. We've been talking about this for awhile and he thought he was getting it in a couple of years, or so we had him convinced he was. With sports and other activities do you even know how nice it is that we can get ahold of them if we need to. And he's even learning how to text and he thinks that's the greatest thing next to sliced bread. It was so funny because Payton had 2 baseball games on saturday which was Braken's birthday and he kept texting my parents trying to start a conversation with them just so he had a reason to text someone. We were sitting on the bleachers and I look over and brakens nose deep in his phone and I asked him what he was doing and he said "texting grandpa and grandma to see if their close", and I laughed because they were walking up at that moment but he wouldn't know cause he was too busy texting. lol it was great and we all understood his excitement. Even aunt Lyndi and her family called him on his phone to wish him a happy birthday and boy does he think he's all that and a bag of chips. We love it. They just grow up way too fast. We are so lucky to have such good boys.

And I bet you can't guess where we went for ice cream: Yep, Leatherby's!!!!

grandma and grandpa Blackham gave him shoes.

Birthday Celebrations

April is a very busy month for birthdays in our family, So we try and meet once to celebrate all of them. With Scott's side of the family we do dinner every month at each families house, so to make it easy we did birthdays also. Derek's was april 5th Brakens is April 16th. (can't believe i'm going to have a 10 year old). What a way to spend a sunday afternoon then with family, a great dinner cooked by Derek and Danni which they did a fantastic job, brownies and cookies n cream ice cream, YUMMY. It was a great day! Thanks to Grandma Cynthia for letting us have it at her house. It's not often I get a picture of scott let alone a good one so I jump at that opportunity, oh he's so handsome; how I Love This Man. Like Father Like Son

Birthday Boys
That's too many candles on a batch of brownies, good thing it didn't go up in flames. What's wrong with you people thinking you need to get older on us or something.

We Love You Both, and we hope you have great birthdays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY

looking back over the years of birthday celebrations we somehow end up doing a photoshoot of all the grandkids, probably because it's really the only time they get to see each other, and boy do they grow and change so much in the time their away from each other. So I guess that's our new tradition, every birthday party we have we take pictures of all the kids together, and we try to get some of all the adults but there not as cute, hahaha I am speaking for myself also. What a good lookin bunch of kids if i've ever seen some. We celebrated Lyndi's birthday and had a killer dinner made by my mom, it was yummy. Happy Birthday Lyndi, Hope you had a good day, LOVE YOU!

Marble Slab Creamery at the district makes the best ice cream cakes ever, so if you have a sweet tooth go there cause it definatley is worth it.

Happy Birthday To All

Well it's my favorite time of the year, going into the holidays, traditions, birthdays, good eats, etc. Since we have so many birthdays within weeks of each other we try and celebrate them all in one day since everyones lifes are as hectic as it is. So we celebrated Grandma Cynthia, Payton, Sydney and Scott's birthday. I can't believe I have an 8 year old now, boy do I feel old, and he reminds me of that often LOL. We love the family time and it goes by way too fast sometimes faster than we can enjoy it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!!! cousin Sydney

Grandma Cynthia, and uncle Derek

oh how tender

Payton is now officially a Scout. Very Cool Buddy

Uncle Clint played a joke on Payton and Grandma and he gave Payton a candle and Grandma Cynthia the tek deck skate boards for the tony hawk skate park. Payton's face was priceless and I wish so bad I would've gotten a picture of it cause he was fighting back tears and didn't know wether to laugh or cry. And we let him sit for about 5 minutes and think about it and the funniest part was he didn't like the smell either, Hilarious. and Grandma had no idea what her gift was and was asking everyone what you do with them, needless to say we got a good laugh so we had to take a picture of them with their mixed up gifts.

Nothing like carrying in your own birthday cake and blowing out your candles.
