I don't have too explain, it's enough to literally melt your heart away!!

My heart just aches as I sit here and have to write about this post. Never in a million years do you think you would bury your parents. Well since June 30th we were faced with that problem as Scott's mom unexpectedly passed away July 4, 2011. She is in no more pain and is in a better place. SHE IS OUR ANGEL AMONG US!! We should never take life for granted, and let our loved ones know we love them. She was our baseball Grandma, I can't even describe the feeling that we had when we showed up to our baseball tournament to play even though going through such a hard time with our family and having our baseball boys and coaches wearing a red ribbon(her favorite color) on their hats in honor of Grandma Cynthia it's more than what you can take in as one person, so overwhelming with emotion and just so proud. And now she has the best seat in the house to watch over all of us. She finally gets to meet my brother also and find out what a great guy he is, and hopefully she can let him know we are all good here on earth. I can't imagine the empty seat on the bleachers watching our baseball team play without her. She was loved and admired by so many people. It kills me to sit here and watch my husband and his siblings have to go through this, and I think they have grown alot closer together this past week being around each other so much and having to plan all this. It was a beautiful service and I think she would've been very proud of her children. The family thanks IMC Hospital and Hospice for the wonderful service they were too our family during our time of need, which it was greatly appreciated. Larkin Sunset Gardens did an excellent job and were so helpful to all of us. There is so many people to Thank that I can't write them all down, but if you are reading this, from the Bottome of Our Hearts, We Thank You!! it means so much to us the support we got from ALOT of people and to our baseball family who supported scott during all this they were there through it all and it helps, they went above and beyond their friendships to make sure he was doing ok. He is a strong and better person through all this and we truly are so blessed to have such great people in our lives, what would we do without them? not a whole lot. Thanks to our immediate families for everything they did for us for anything from donations to laundrey to dinner, we couldn't get through this without any of you and we are very appreciative of your services and WE LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH!!! Grandma is going to be missed very much and we love her with all our hearts, and she will always be in our thoughts!!! xoxoxoxoxo

  1. She had such a beautiful picture and obituary- her kids did a great Job.. I am sure she was proud watching over them, what a beautiful casket- it takes me back to 2 years ago and it hurts. I love how the team honored there friend... and your boys' oh, it seriously broke me up. My heart just breaks for you all.
I am glad IMC was so good to her because I have a few choice words for them. But, so glad she and your Family had a good experience. She sure does have the best seat in the house, it never makes it easier but through Faith and Prayer I know we will one day be reunited. Thinking about you guys today and always, I sure love your sweet family.

  2. I posted a blog about my feelings from all of this as well. I didn't get any pictures from the funeral, so it's only words, but it made me cry anyway. Reading this entry and seeing the pictures makes me nearly cry, and I'm sitting here at work. I hope this will help to create better unity (as if they really had big issues with that before) between Clint, Scott, Derek, and Lindsay. *Hugs* See you soon.
