This was at the LA Airport where we had a 2 hour layover. Thank goodness for electronics
This is what greets you when you get off the shuttle and arrive at the resort.
This is in the Lobby, were all here safe and sound
This is the pool and pretty much the area where you eat and they have entertainment every night.
That is the ocean behind us
This is the waterslide park
Payton & Scott canoeing
We did the Banana Boat everyday
They had a swim up bar in the swimming pool and the boys thought that was pretty cool that they could swim and then get a cold strawberry daquiri (obviously virgin lol)
The resort had an xbox garage that the kids could go play in that was air conditioned
nothing says a beach like building a sand castle
We snorkeled a couple of times and we were shocked at how well the boys did they absolutely loved it.
Braken with his Virgin Strawberry Daquiri, they actually could go up to the bar themselves and order it, oooohhhh they were all grow'd up for a minute
We saw sharks
They pet a stingray, we also swam with dolphins but I couldn't get the pictures off our disc and that was amazing.
Payton playing the Human Ipod, which was one of the kids activities for the night he was in the top 3 and ended up loosing to the girl on the right she won it.
Payton found a buddy named Kamar who could dance hip hop so he was teaching meat how to dance like michael jackson (RIP king of pop) cute as ever he felt like he was on top of the world
We rode Bobsleds
Scott did the ZipLine
Braken danced on stage and did not like that at all lol
Scott went with his friend he made named Don, wind surfing
The boys messing around in the pool
Our Feet In The Sand
If you go to the beach you have to be buried in sand, right?
This is Monique, one of the entertainment staff members and she loved Meat so we would tease him that it was his girlfriend and sad thing is, is that he was ok with it. She was very nice
This is Meat's dance floor friend Kamar, he's the man
It's time to say GoodBye
Were bidding FareWell
Thanks Babe, for the great getaway, it was very relaxing. It probably will be a once in a lifetime event for our family, if we do ever go back it will be just me and scott next time. We met some great people on the resort who obviously live in Jamaica, and what a shell shock to see the difference in our living lifestyles. They are a very poor country but they are all so chill and Happy, God Bless them for enjoying life. We were treated great and we met alot of new friends from Canada that we hung out with throughout the week. It was great. Who wouldn't want to have access to a beach, swimpark, 24hr ice cream cones, strawberry daquiries, 80 degree weather just doing absolutely nothing, me and I (tried) enjoying every minute of it. I added the tried because it was sometimes nerve racking trying to keep track of your family in a very unfamiliar country, and you hear so many bad things about Jamaica but we were on the good side of the island that I tend to worry about our luggage, sleeping, getting sick, or lost etc. pretty much everything under the sun, and that's why I have Scott cause he makes it so much easier. It was a good break from reality for a moment it seemed like it went by just way to fast but we knew home was near soon enough and we got to share our experience and pictures with our family and try to enjoy our holiday season if that's even possible.
