Are We Extinct?

I took the boys to Thanksgiving Point to the "MuSeUm of AnCiEnt LiFe" and it was a pretty cool place. We had never been there before and with Braken being so fascinated with animals of all species he's really wanted to go, so we did. It's amazing to see how dinasours look on the inside and how big they are if you were to stand by them, and all the hands on activities they have for kids to do it was a big hit. The history behind these creatures who would have ever known and then trying to pronounce all their names lol that was a chore, and since Payton knows everything in life he told us how to say them all, thanks buddy! It took us about an hour and a half to walk through and see everything. That place is huge, from the freeway it doesn't look very big though. This was our last big fun adventure out before school starts in 5 days!! HOORAY T-Rex

Can You Find Braken?

This area was build your own Dinasour and of course any typical boy what do they do with the pieces? Yep start hitting each other, whatever; I don't know what it is about the Male gender and why they do it but they do so to turn their attention away from that quickly before someone got hurt I told them to pretend they were the dinasour and put the pieces to them

Braken couldn't stop laughing

The Dinasour Magnet Board

Braken wanted to take a picture of me with the largest dinasour; I felt really really small compared to it

This was the messy part but so cool that they could build little things and use their imaginations in this mud and the walls even had stories on this stuff about dinasours; you could bury the dinasour pieces and then find them, they even had little plants and stuff, genius

I think the picture says it all

Braken was looking for the sharks the entire time because he wanted to do this with it and it was at the very end of the museum, anticipation was almost too much for him to bear lol and yes the little sign on the ground said "PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB ON EXHIBIT" well that obiously wasn't stopping him

And at the very end they had 2 big sandboxes that the kids could go in and dig for bones. What a great creative thing, until you get that little bratty kid that likes to flip the sand at your face, bless Paytons words he let some kid know that you don't do that hahaha

It was alot of fun and I'm glad we went because their really is so much to see and we have been to a couple beaches before and they have sections that show you under water animals and what the ocean floors look like and stuff and that was very interesting too see, and different types of animals that who even knew existed and the actually size of the largest turtle in the world my whole family plus our dog could have fit inside it's tummy, way cool and a great learning experience. Until Next Time!!!!
